In the first month of 2021 ecommerce gaint Amazon announced that from 31st January onwards sellers from South India will be able to register in amazon using kannada as their language. This decision was made to better the experience of the seller and reduce the language gap between the consumer, seller and the platform.
This new development will help over 35,000 sellers who are already on the platform. This change will help sellers who are operating from Bengaluru, Mangalore, Hubballi, Kalaburgi and Mysuru among many cities in Karnataka.

This new language sellers will be able to use all of the amazon features in their native language such as amazon website, amazon app, Seller Support Services and Seller University videos and tutorials in Kannada. All of this will better integrate amazon into the above mentioned cities. Followed this amazon has launched their seller center in other language like Hindi and Tamil. This addition of new language help amazon in getting 50,000 new sellers on board.
