Hey, seller if you sell on Amazon and also advertise on the platform then we have some amazing news for you all. Now sellers can show ads on Twitch. Currently anyone who sells on amazon is one able to advertise on the online selling platform which is amazon website only and no other place. However, this is slowly changing, as you all know that amazon has its presence in many other places other than what most people are aware of. Now amazon is slowly integrating these other platforms as the available places where the sellers can advertise their products other than the main amazon website. The first of these platforms is Twitch. Now I am aware of the fact that most of the people who are reading blogs might not know about what Twitch is and how this integration can help the sellers to improve the sale. So I will start with the first question.
What is Twitch and ?
Every one of you are aware that YouTube is the largest free platform for consuming online video on demand. It is also the world’s 2nd largest search engine which comes second only to Google itself. Now Twitch is also a platform for consuming online video on demand, however there are a few differences. YouTube is home for anything to everything. On YouTube you can find people dancing on the roads to people analysing fictional characters as if they were real. This is not the case with Twitch, twitch is home for mostly gamers who are mostly into streaming their game to the mass audience and earning revenue. Anyone who does not play games or watch other gamers stream. It is acceptable that they have not heard about Twitch. However, Twitch has an active user base of 15 million per day. This is a huge number and by allowing the sellers to show their ads on Twitch the potential reach of amazon and their sellers have increased by a lot.

Before you get too excited you should also read this section as well. This new advertising is not available to all of the sellers, at the time of writing this blog this new feature is only available on only two continents North America and Europe.
North America: United States and Canada.
Europe: United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain
If you are a seller from any other countries which are not mentioned above, then you can not run ads on Twitch. It seems that Amazon is experimenting with this new idea and if this idea becomes a success in these above-mentioned countries then amazon will include other countries in the list as well, but for now, any seller from India would not be able to use this feature.
Both sellers and vendors would be able to use this feature provided that they are in the above-mentioned list. Now comes the important part.
